Last night the Italian-American Museum of Los Angeles held its 6th Annual Taste of Italy in Downtown Los Angeles. The Taste of Italy serves as a fundraiser for the soon to be re-opened Italian-American Museum. General Admission was $55 and VIP was $125. General admission came with 6 drink and 6 food tickets. Among the draws were many food and drink booths (all food and drinks cost 1 ticket). The food was amazing as were the drinks. There were various performers providing entertainment including but not limited to: The LA Opera & The Swing Dolls. The Swing Dolls were easily my favorite. There was also a cooking demo stage. The highlight there was Actor Louis Lombardi from such shows as “24 (Edgar Stiles)” and “The Sopranos (Skip Lipari)”. Mr. Lombardi was there to demo cooking and promote his line of gourmet Italian foods. It was great to meet him he is a talented actor and a gentleman. We are already looking forward to Taste of Italy 2015!!
